A great shopping experience

We-Exchange
Recently I was called by an aquaintance about a sale being held at her friend's place in Chembur.Gingerly i agreed knowing fully well i wouldnt purchase anything there. These exhibitions generally turn out to be a very expensive affair. We reached there with my friend all gung ho about her soon to begin shopping extavaganza. We looked around for some time in this little room which seemed to be loaded with dress materilas in all colours and essentially in cotton. The entrpreneurs in the room tried to make us as comfortable as they could. Slowly the crowd begin to grow.We were the only 2 when we entered. Then started the clinging on to materials, and waitng for others to drop one so that the next person could grab it.I was enjoying myself looking at the people there amd how they were behaving. But to my dismay I found myself actually picking up materials as they all seemed to be at reaonable rates. The choice was very difficult to make.My friend was having a difficult time keeping a straight face as i was picking up more than her. Eventually when i left the premises(a solid 2 hours later) my purse was lighter by a few thousand rupees and hands were carrying quite a load. Thanks to those women who held the sale i have a new perspective on exhibitons.I am actually waiting for them to hold the next exhibiton. They have now started keeping all their stock at a shop in chembur station called indigo nation. One can walk in there and ask for the dress materials. You are directed to the mezzanine and allowed to go through the materials at your own leisure. They go by the name Vastra ....for women. I just wanted to share this experience so many more of you could have the wonderful experience i had.
